Driveway: 4:30am
"What happened? ...You claimed you would never leave..." Echoed out the heartbroken voice, shaking as tears rolled down the silverette's face. Reno, own person, ex-Turk. Kadaj, remnant one, ex-lover. "You said you loved me...what a joke." Mako eyes gazed up to the clear sky above, reflecting the stars within his tears. The memories of when the redhead left flashed by, causing him to place a hand where his heart should be. "Reno..."
Healin Lodge: 3:45am
"Reno! Come back here!" The silverette hissed, chasing the male into the open room. "Kadaj, I'm not talking about this with you! It's none of your goddamn business, yo!" Reno growled, glaring his lover down. "Look, you talk to me about this..." Kadaj murmured, walking closer. "No...Just...stay out of it, 'Daj..." The Turk grumbled, walking to the door as he left the silverette standing there. "Oh...so now you're just going to leave? You won't talk to me about this?" The puppet cried, his eyes stinging with unshed tears. "No, I won't!" Reno yelled, walking out of Healin and down the steps. "Fine!! Fine, but I want you out of my house! Out and gone, you understand me?!" Kadaj roared from the door, watching Reno get in his car and drive away.
Loveless Bar: 4:00am
"Kadaj..." Reno muttered, starring down at the whiskey in front of him. After all this time, they'd went their separate ways even after all those attempts to keep it together. He downed the last of the drink, desperately trying to dull the pain. "We just couldn't do it..." The redhead sighed, dripping tears into the now empty glass. Staring at the band around his finger, he frowned. "If only..." The ring hit the counter, the engraved letters reflecting on the side of the glass. 'Forever and Always' .....
Kadaj's Home 5:32am
Reno was gone. All his things were packed up, taken away, and gone. Now, the house just seemed...Empty. "So...this is how it ends..." Kadaj murmured, walking through the seemingly deserted house. "No more...seeing him everyday...coming home to open arms..." By this point, the remnant was sobbing into the empty atmosphere. "It hurts..." He muttered, making his way back outside. Kadaj left the door open, in case he needed to run inside to be left alone.
House Doorsteps: 5:35am
The silverette sat on his doorstep, gazing at the silver band still around his finger. "Didn't even make it to wedding day..." He sobbed, sliding the object off his finger. He stared at the intricate engravings, clutching the object close to his chest before getting up. "Forever and always...wasn't that it?" The remnant hissed, raising his hand and flinging the shimmering item away. "Yeah...like I'll believe that one again..."
